450 gsm loopback French terry with a double-layer hood and ribs that recover. Heavy the way a hoodie is supposed to be, and built to survive the wash.
450 gsm is where French terry stops being a sweatshirt. A high street hoodie is usually 280 to 320. At 450 the fabric holds a shape, resists sagging at the elbows, and keeps its structure after years of washing.
Loopback means the inside is left as unbrushed loops rather than shaved into fleece. It breathes better, it does not mat into pills, and it gets softer with wear instead of flatter.
The hood is double-layered and cut deep enough to actually sit up. The drawcords are flat woven with metal tips. Cuffs and hem are ribbed with elastane through them, so they pull back rather than stretching out after the first month.
Shoulders, armholes and side seams are twin-needle stitched. The kangaroo pocket is bar-tacked at both hand openings, which is where a hoodie normally fails first.
The wordmark sits small at the chest. Nothing on the back.
